White Claw Hard Seltzer was launched in 2016 by the Mark Anthony Group and it took America by storm ― more than half of all hard seltzer sold in the US in 2019 was White Claw, eventually leading to a brief shortage. Anthony von Mandl’s company saw exponential growth following the success of the hard seltzer, as the low-calory and low-sugar 5% ABV drink kept growing in popularity year after year.
