About Stranger & Sons Gin
Distilled in Goa, India at their Third Eye Distillery, juniper and angelica are the only botanicals not sourced from the country. The rest are black pepper, nutmeg, mace, coriander, licorice, and cassia bark. 4 different citrus peels are used: those of Gondhoraj lemons, Nagpur oranges, Mausambi limes, and Indian bergamot. In an effort to support the local community and minimize waste, these peels are then transformed into products such as pickles and jams by local women. Taking its cues from the London dry style, the 85.6-proof gin is juniper-forward with plenty of citrus and spice notes.

About Stranger & Sons
Stranger & Sons was founded in 2018 by Rahul Mehra, Sakshi Saigal, and Vidur Gupta, Mumbai-based entrepreneurs and restaurateurs. The 3 gin lovers chose to harness the Portuguese influence in India, the “Stranger” in the title referencing Indian culture and beliefs, while the “Sons” signifies the business being family-owned. The tiger on the bottle is a reference to a tale about a mythical creature that inspired the spirit. The beast with 2 tails and 3 eyes is said to have found juniper berries in a sari blouse. The tiger supposedly appears during the full moon in Goa, London, Singapore, and Thailand ― it appeared in a dream of the Stranger & Sons family, entrusting them with the recipe for the spirit.
About Gin
