After a rough boozy weekend, co-founder Chris Boyd was tired of not feeling his best self on a Monday morning. He then became cautious of any drinking escapades and resorted to drinking either a really sugary beverage or an uninspiring club soda. Instead of having the Sunday night syndrome, Chris had a eureka moment and got the idea to start making tasty non-alcoholic spirits that wouldn’t impair his thinking and decision-making skills at the start of the week. With friend Ben Acott, he founded Monday in 2019 and made their flagship spirit, Monday Zero Alcohol Gin. This delicious concoction is made by blending natural botanical extracts, containing notes of juniper and lime, followed by a spicy and bitter finish. It can serve as a base for any gin-based cocktail—without the calories and liquor and with a pocket full of flavor and deliciousness.
